Getting more sleep is a simple way that can help a stressed person to reduce the stress levels. This is because lack of sleep has been identified as a cause of stress. There are certain relaxation techniques that can assist someone to reduce stress. Tests done to majority of these techniques confirm their efficiency.

Physical exercise is another method of managing stress. Stress is characterized by the increasing levels of stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline. Exercise can therefore boost the production of these hormones. It is not a must for someone to do a vigorous physical exercise to achieve this. Walking in fresh air can also be useful.
